These (4) photos show how I water the garden when we haven't gotten any rain for a while. I usually pump the water out of our creek but that has been real low this summer. I have a 200 gallon water tank that I get filled at the town building. It cost $1.00 for 200 gallons. Then I use a PTO pump on the tractor which feeds (2) sprinklers...

In July we had some very heavy rain storms where we received over 3 inches of rain and then the temperatures got real hot for almost 2 weeks. 95 to 100 deg. temperatures. This was a breeding ground for diseases. We lost all the cucumber plants and the squash plants were hit hard. We have been nursing everything a long and the rest of the garden is doing well.
